ARCA Images and Miami-Dade County Auditorium presents “La Historia del Zoológico” (The Zoo Story) on November 6-15, 2026 at the Westchester Cultural Arts Center. Arca Images presenta La historia del zoológico, de Edward Albee, en una nueva producción bilingüe dirigida por Carlos Celdrán. En un banco de Central Park, un encuentro casual entre Peter, un ejecutivo angloamericano, y Jerry, un hombre hispano que busca desesperadamente ser escuchado, se transforma en una intensa confrontación sobre la soledad, la clase social, el idioma, la identidad y la necesidad de conexión. Concebida para el Miami contemporáneo, esta nueva interpretación profundiza la distancia cultural y lingüística entre los personajes. Presentado en español e inglés con traducción simultánea al inglés. Arca Images presents Edward Albee’s The Zoo Story in a new bilingual production directed by Carlos Celdrán. On a bench in Central Park, a casual encounter between Peter, an Anglo-American executive, and Jerry, a Hispanic man desperate to be heard, becomes an intense confrontation about loneliness, social class, language, identity, and the need for connection. Conceived for contemporary Miami, this new interpretation deepens the cultural and linguistic divide between the characters.
