 ium present “La Velada” by Marta Galvez on Saturday\, October 24 at 8:
 00 pm and Sunday\, October 25\, 2026 at 2:00 pm at the Aventura Arts & Cul
 tural Center. “La Velada” explores the meeting point between flamenco 
 tradition and the present moment. Inspired by the legacy of flamenco and t
 hose who danced before her\, Marta Gálvez transforms inherited movement a
 nd memory into a personal\, contemporary expression—rooted in history ye
 t unmistakably of today. Born in Córdoba\, Gálvez began her flamenco tra
 ining at age three and earned a degree in Spanish Dance from the Professio
 nal Dance Conservatory. She later studied on scholarship at the Andalusian
  Dance Center and has performed with leading companies including David Cor
 ia\, María Pagés\, Úrsula López\, José Porcel\, and Juan Carlos Aveci
 lla. Her honors include the Outstanding Dancer Prize (2015) and the Young 
 Flamenco Artists Award from the Provincial Council of Córdoba (2023). —

 itorium’s Away From Home Series. Programming continues to thrive during 
 this period of renovation through the Away From Home Series. The series co
